Our commitment to the health and safety of the individuals and families we support and our workforce continues to be Southern Tier Connect’s highest priority through this difficult time. We are also committed to helping our provider community in any way we can. We understand the extreme strain this pandemic has created for you, your workforce and in turn the provision of “typical” services.
We wanted to send an updated communication regarding our Care Management Staff and our plans for an extension of the current remote working policy through April 29th, 2020 or until the crisis is deemed over and face to face activities can once again take place. Please contact our Care Management staff with any issues that arise Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm (607)376-7526. If you need to get in touch with an STC Supervisor, and it is between the hours of 4 pm- 8 am, call (607)376-7526 x101, any day of the week.
I would also urge you to continue using our COVID-19 resource page.
Please continue to share any guidance your agency has regarding current Community-Based Services such as SDS, Community Hab, SEMP, Pre-Voc and Residential, as it applies to your policies during COVID-19. Questions are coming up every day as to what is happening with staff and services at our various Network Provider Agencies and we would love to have the knowledge to share with our members.
We have instructed our Care Managers to continue to refer families and individuals to ask questions of you all as a first step!
Please stay safe and healthy and as always if you have any questions please write or call me.
Sincerely,

Meghann Andrews-Whitaker | Executive Director
